committee expectations

• Members serve on committee from September 2020 - May 2021
• Attend all-committee meetings during the Fall and Spring semesters. Meetings will be held virtually in the fall semester.
• Attend two committee retreats, one in Fall and one in Spring. The Fall semester retreat date and structure is TBD.
• Actively promote Longhorn Run on personal social media channels by following all Longhorn Run social media accounts sharing event content year-round. 
• Take a great deal of initiative both within the responsibilities of their position and in contributing to the overall success of the committee. 
• Contribute time to events that promote the race including but not limited to staffing activations, pre-race events, tabling on a regular basis, speaker circuiting, and other outreach initiatives.
• Support race day operations. All committee members must be available on Saturday, April 17, 2021 (4:00am-12:00pm).​
