The Longhorn Run Ambassador program is focused on supporting Longhorn Run as a campus tradition, alongside the student committee. This program seeks to involve students from across the UT campus to assist the LHR 2022 student committee with outreach and promotional efforts for this year's in person race. Ambassadors serve a critical role in increasing awareness of Longhorn Run throughout the UT community and beyond. Commitment & ResponsIbiltiesAmbassadors will be required to fulfill the following responsibilities:
SELECTION PROCESSAll applications will be reviewed by our Student Director, Ambassador Program Coordinator, and committee advisor. Applicants will be notified no later than EOD on Thursday, January 27 on the status of their application.

Why should I participate in the ambassador program?
In addition to joining an awesome team of ambassadors and serving as a leader on campus, selected ambassadors will receive complimentary race registration and other perks along the way.
How big of a time commitment is the program?
Ambassadors will be asked to attend three meetings during the spring semester, participate in four Longhorn Run training events, volunteer at least four hours during packet-pick-up week and participate in Longhorn Run 2022. Outside of these commitments, there will be various outreach-related items that you will be asked to assist with such as tabling.
